The United Kingdom is an island nation known for, amongst other things, its great hospitality, welcoming visitors from all over the world to its mix of fast-paced urban centres and long-stretching swathes of countryside. The question is, which city is the most affable? Once again, we asked our readers to vote for the UK cities they consider home to the friendliest people in our 2023 Readers' Choice Awards. With cities from all four devolved nations appearing on this list, the friendliest people in the country range far and wide. 10 cities appear on this list – but three cities are tied for second place, while two more are tied to round out the list.
These are the friendliest cities in the UK, according to the 2023 Readers' Choice Awards. The scores below are percentages representing overall average levels of satisfaction.
