We’ve tested plenty of suitcases for our luggage guides here at Condé Nast Traveller, but for those seeking a reasonably priced case, Nere stands above our other favourites. The Australian brand’s colourful pieces come in at surprisingly keen price points, and they've made their mark on the British market. It’s rare to take a trip to an airport in recent months and not see at least one telltale pastel suitcase being wheeled into baggage check.
Shopping during sale season means even better value on your new suitcase set or carry-on. Right now, Nere is offering discounts of 30% across its whole range. Our editors have used multiple Nere pieces on our travels across the globe, and we’re happy to give the pieces below our official stamp of approval. Below, the best Nere luggage picks our editors recommend – now with a 30% discount.
Stori suitcase
It seems like every time I travel I spy at least one of these pastel cases at the airport – and it’s obvious why. The range comes in a selection of pretty sorbet shades that will stand out on your social feeds and the luggage carousel alike – and it comes with an impressive 10-year warranty. We took this all the way to the Maldives and back without a hitch. There wasn’t a scuff or a scratch to be seen upon return – something that more expensive cases haven’t been able to claim.
Seeker duffle bag
This canvas weekender bag is a roomy 51L, making it one of the largest duffles we’ve tried. It has a passthrough sleeve to attach to your case and can be slung in the washing machine when needed. There are just two external pockets, but given the generously-sized main compartment, we’re not sure that matters.
Stori packing cubes
We’ve spoken plenty of times about why you should invest in a set of packing cubes, and these are as good as any we’ve tried, at under £20. Nere’s sets come in packs of three and are available in a multitude of bright colours, from hyper pink to light aqua and classic black. These fold down very flat when not in use, which is great for space-saving. However, we do note the lack of window on the outside, which means you can’t see inside when they’re full.
Seeker backpack
A good backpack is an everyday essential, and especially so when travelling. Choose wisely, and one bag can see you through the daily commute through airport security and onto your sightseeing days. Nere’s backpack is a good bet. Sleek and minimal, it has a dedicated laptop pocket, plenty of pockets for your passport and onboard essentials and a roomy main compartment. It earns bonus sustainability points for being made from recycled materials, too.
